Regular use of your pillows can cause the microbeads to flatten over time. That’s why we offer our universal 10L refill, specially designed to restore the shape and comfort of your doomoo maternity and pregnancy pillows. Compatible only with Buddy, Softy, Twisty & The Seat’n Grow. Bring your pillow back to its original softness and enjoy it like new!

Simple and practical

Pouring the microbeads is quick and easy thanks to the built-in straw. Simply slide the folded cardboard insert into the hole of the bead bag, and your pillow can be refreshed in minutes!

The refill also features a non-return valve for safe storage, so you won’t risk spilling any microbeads. Refilling your pillow has never been easier!

Note: This refill is designed for a pillow already filled with microbeads. It cannot be used to fill an empty cover.

Discover the steps to properly fill your pillow:

Step 1: Take this cardboard.
Step 2: Roll it up to form a straw. Use the notches to fasten in place.
Step 3: Slide the straw into the hole in the packaging.
Step 4: Unzip the pillow using a paperclip.
Step 5: Insert the straw into the pillow and fill with the microbeads. Zip the pillow up and remove the paperclip.

• The microbeads are electrostatic; we recommend refilling your pillow on a dry, clean, and smooth surface.
• The microbeads are weightless and flyaway; please refill your pillow in an unventilated room, free from draughts.

How to Refill Your doomoo pillow ?

Remove the pillow cover. Using a paperclip, open the zipper(s) of the pillow. The Softy and Buddy models have 2 zippers. The Twisty model has only 1 zipper, and you need to convert your Twisty into a Buddy before proceeding with the filling.
Tip: It’s easier if two people do this together.
If your cushion has a second inner zipper, open it as well. Some microbeads may escape. Some pillows only have one zipper.
Take the refill cardboard out of its packaging. Place it on a flat surface and roll it along the grooves. Lock it using the notches to keep the cardboard closed.
Insert the rolled cardboard into the refill opening of the packaging.
Pour the microbeads into the pillow through the opening. Some beads may fall, so it’s best to do this over a trash bin. You can use a vacuum to pick up any stray beads.
Once the pillow is refilled, remove the cardboard from the valve and close all zippers using the paperclip.
Gently shake the pillow to evenly distribute the microbeads.

How many refill bags do I need?

It’s not always easy to estimate how many liters are needed to refill your pillow. In 90% of cases, the 10 L refill is enough.

For reference, here is the original volume of the pillows:

• Buddy: 33 L
• Softy: 19 L
• Twisty: 25 L

Before starting, we recommend watching the instruction video and performing the refill with another person. The microbeads are very fine and can easily escape.

Are the microbeads safe for health?

Yes! Our microbeads have been tested and approved by an independent laboratory. They are Oeko-Tex® and Toxproof® certified, and pose no health risks.

How can you make sure the cardboard insert is properly closed before filling it?

Before filling, check that the hooks are correctly positioned and securely fastened. Then place the cardboard insert on a flat surface: if it stays closed and does not open, it is properly secured.

Tip: don’t hesitate to use adhesive tape to make sure the cardboard insert stays closed.

Pratique & Efficace

J’étais un peu sceptique au début suite aux avis, mais cette recharge est top. J’ai pu ajuster la fermeté de mon coussin exactement comme je voulais. Je ne regrette pas du tout l’achat.

Ongelooflijk slecht

Ik laat meestal geen productrecensies achter, maar in dit geval maak ik een uitzondering. Dit is zonder twijfel het slechtste product dat ik ooit heb gebruikt. Ik begrijp niet hoe zoiets geproduceerd en verkocht mag worden.

Het rietje dat bedoeld is om deze belachelijke kraaltjes in het kussen te gieten, is volkomen nutteloos. De vulling zelf is elektrostatisch en in wezen gewichtloos, waardoor het absoluut onpraktisch is voor elk textielgebruik. Het hele ontwerp werkt fundamenteel niet. Als ik ook maar enigszins betrokken was bij het ontwerp hiervan, zou ik onmiddellijk met pensioen gaan.

Als het kon, zou ik dit product nul sterren geven. Wees lief voor jezelf – koop dit niet.

J'ai voulu le recharger mon doomoo pour ma 2ème grossesse car il avait perdu son volume. Une catastrophe !

De microbolletjes blijven overal aan kleven en vliegen alle kanten op. Het kartonnen rietje en het zakje zijn helemaal niet geschikt, er komen meer bolletjes naast het borstvoedingskussen terecht dan erin, en dan hebben we het nog niet eens over wat er in het zakje achterblijft, dat je vanwege de elektrostatische lading niet helemaal leeg kunt maken.
Ik raad dit product absoluut niet aan.

J'ai le coussin doomoo buddy, j'en étais très satisfaite pour ma 1ère grossesse et j'ai voulu le recharger pour ma 2ème grossesse car il avait perdu un peu de son moelleux : GROSSE ERREUR !!!! Si je peux vous donner un conseil en tant que femme enceinte qui tente de survivre à son 3ème trimestre : racheter un coussin d'allaitement, peut-être même d'une autre marque, ça vous fera moins suer que d'acheter ce sac et d'effectuer la recharge des billes.
Les micro billes s'accrochent partout et volent dans tous les sens, la paille en carton est vraiment nulle, on mets plus de billes à côté que dans le coussin d'allaitement, c'est un combat qu'on a absolument pas envie de mener surtout à un certain stade de la grossesse.
Je ne peux pas croire qu'en 2025, presque 2026 vous n'ayez trouver aucun autre système plus pratique pour rembourrer le coussin d'allaitement, vous êtes cruels car en plus de se battre avec la paille pour remplir le coussin, il faut ensuite passer l'aspirateur PARTOUT pour se débarrasser des billes tomber par terre dans cette lutte acharnée... au secours !!! Je ne recommande pas

Niet fijn

Geen leuke ervaring om het kussen bij te vullen. Vroeger waren er grotere parels, die veel handiger waren en ik vond ze ook aangenamer aanvoelen in het kussen. Geen fan van deze nieuwe variant. Spijtig genoeg zijn de oude nergens meer te koop.
